Free Cosmetic Consultation

At The Parkway Prosthodontics, we require a cosmetic injection consultation to understand your cosmetic goals, to review your health history, and review your options before treatment. This will allow us to draft the best treatment plan for your specific needs and wants. The good news, they are complimentary and new patients receive 15% off their first injection treatment. We are also offering 20% off PDO Threads until December 2024.

We will provide an in-depth consultation before offering any treatment. This enables you to make up your own mind, in your own time, about whether it’s the right treatment for you. It's important you understand all aspects of cosmetic injections.

It's natural to feel some anxiety, whether it's excitement for your anticipated new look or a bit of pre-treatment stress. Don't be shy about discussing these feelings with Dr. Ryan. or Dr. Mularkey.

There will be five steps to your consultation with us!

  • Review of  your medical history

  • A detailed analysis of your skin

  • A full clinical assessment

  • Review of potential risks and side-effects

  • Comprehensive cosmetic treatment plan

Consultation

about our consultations.

At Parkway Prosthodontics, we believe that the fundamental basis for a successful aesthetic procedure is an in-depth consultation with our skilled qualified practitioner to assess your needs and develop a personal treatment plan so that you achieve outstanding natural-looking results. You can call us on (904)647-5793

Know the facts. Remember: there is a difference between who CAN inject, and who SHOULD inject.

Common Questions

common injection questions.

Do I need a consultation before receiving dermal fillers??
Yes, we suggest one! Without a thorough consultation, a practitioner will not know what your expected outcomes are or how much product to administer to achieve the results you want. Not having a consultation is risky from a health point of view too, as the practitioner won’t have discussed the risks and side-effects with you or be aware of your medical history. Most cosmetic injections take, at minimum, three months to wear off so if you risk having the treatment without a consultation, then you may have to deal with unsatisfactory results for a considerable amount of time.

How much does a cosmetic injections consultation cost?
This will vary from different clinics – at Parkway Prosthodontics we require a consultation with one of our Doctors and this is complimentary. It includes a detailed analysis of your skin, a full clinical assessment, and a comprehensive treatment plan. Some clinics offer free consultations, but it is unlikely that a practitioner will be able to gain the detailed information needed to produce the optimum results during a free consultation. A free consultation is highly unlikely to include a skin imaging analysis, for example.

Why is a Doctor better for cosmetic injections or fillers, than a nurse or other spa staff?

The main risk from nurses or other spa staff administering the drug without the necessary training is when adverse reactions occur. When not anticipated, these can be big trouble, especially if the facility “supervising physician” is offsite. Your doctor should conduct a full consultation, review your medical history, and construct a plan to provide the safest and best results – other staff members simply do not have the years of experience and expertise that physicians do.

Additional medical training is important for injections. They are a specialized medical procedure that requires medical education in the anatomy and physiology of the facial muscles, nerves, blood vessels, etc. One must know exactly where to place the needle and how much filler to use. If the location is off by just a quarter of an inch, the result may cause the eye to close or the eyebrow to droop.

Don't worry, all Injections and fillers are performed by our licensed doctors.
