Learn About Dermal Fillers

Revanesse® Versa™+ at Parkway Prosthodontics

As we age, the face often loses volume, leading to common signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines, and crow’s feet. Fortunately, these effects can be effectively reversed by targeting specific areas with dermal fillers. At Parkway Prosthodontics, Dr. Kathryn Ryan and Dr. Hanna Mularkey, both AAFE Certified Aesthetic Injectors, specialize in helping patients achieve a natural, youthful facial appearance with these FDA-approved treatments.

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers, also known as injectable fillers or soft-tissue fillers, are FDA-approved products designed to add volume and shape to the face, restoring a smooth, youthful look. These treatments are performed exclusively by licensed professionals, including physicians, physician assistants, and nurses, ensuring safety and optimal results.

Why Choose Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are a safe, convenient, and minimally invasive solution for facial rejuvenation. Made from naturally occurring substances such as hyaluronic acid (HA), collagen, or biosynthetic polymers, these fillers work with your body to deliver nutrients to the skin, retain moisture, and restore softness. While the results are not permanent, many dermal fillers provide noticeable improvements lasting more than a year.

What Can Dermal Fillers Treat?

With the expertise of Dr. Ryan and Dr. Mularkey, dermal fillers can target a variety of concerns to enhance your facial aesthetics, including:

  • Wrinkles and fine lines

  • Cheek depressions

  • Deep nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the mouth)

  • Acne scars

  • Frown lines and worry lines

  • Crow’s feet around the eyes

  • Marionette lines (lines extending from the corners of the mouth)

  • Lip borders

Dr. Kathryn Ryan and Dr. Hanna Mularkey bring a personalized approach to every treatment, ensuring that your unique facial structure and aesthetic goals are taken into account. As AAFE Certified Aesthetic Injectors, they are highly trained to deliver precise, natural-looking results that help you feel confident and refreshed.
